At Mirando al Mar you can take a break, digest your experiences, walk for hours along the rough Pacific coast, climb around on the stones, discover strange cacti, search for sea urchins, anemones and other marine animals. With a little luck you can observe whales in summer, dolphins pass by all year round, and if you take a little time and watch the sea from one of the big rocks, you may see the protected coastal otters, known locally as “Chungungos”.
Our home, “El Arrayan Costero”, is located 22 km north of the city of La Serena. It is a region with unique flora and fauna. In the most respectful way possible we would love to share this little paradise and the diversity of this seemingly barren region with you.
