From archery, kayaking and fishing galore to romantic retreats for couples, hen parties and weddings, Secret Valley’s secluded location offers the lot. Cobbs Cross Farm – the home of Secret Valley – can be found in Somerset’s beautiful Quantock Hills, established in 1973 and now a family business. While nearby lakes and beaches in the wider vicinity allow for fishing, swimming and more, on-site business Black Rock Outdoors offers plenty of fun activities for thrill-seekings and caters to parties, corporate retreats and school events too.
This organic farm is home to chickens and cows, as well as miniature donkeys and alpacas, but the main crop here is actually Christmas trees. The site is also home to five acres of vineyards offering five varieties of grape of which the red, white, rose and sparkling wines can be bought and enjoyed on site. Or go the whole hog and visit Farmer John’s Farm tour for games and wine tasting with amazing views to boot. And on a rainy day, enjoy the pamper pod, kids can visit the play barn, or play pool, boules, skittles, table tennis or croquet.
