Near Gisborne on the East Cape of New Zealand, Tatapouri Glamping aims to offer visitors an insight into the beauty of this part of the world. Right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, owners Shanti and Nathan opened the site after deciding to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and create a space which could bring together everything they so dearly loved: creativity, nature, good food and a sense of community.
The area offers all sorts of activities such as guided reef ecology tours, the Gisborne railbike adventure, sacred sites, beautiful beaches, a natural rock slide and more. And to round off a summer’s day, this boutique campground offers not only stunning ocean-side views and a calm, quiet location, but also a beachfront cafe with great coffee, tasty baked goods and bagels and real fruit ice cream.
